Cancer Couldn't Stop Her Happy Tail From Wagging...

Kiera was 14 3/4 when she was diagnosed with terminal hemangiosarcoma. After having her spleen removed and developing an infection that caused significant blood loss at home, one vet advised her family to put Kiera down. They said that even with aggressive chemo, she'd have 3-6 "not-so-happy" months at best. Something felt out of place. Kiera's family believed much of her pain was due to a completely treatable infection from getting the spleen removal incision too dirty. They consulted a more holistic vet and trusted their own hearts.

Immediately, Kiera's family stopped feeding her canned dog foods and switched to organic meats (mostly chicken), rice, and vegetables. This was supplemented with natural remedies and a couple of prescriptions (plus plenty of love). Soon, Kiera's tail was happily wagging once again and at her next check-up, there was no visible sign of the "untreatable" cancer! She lived nearly two more full years before it returned aggressively; Those are two years her and her family never would've had together if they had listened to the first...all-too-negative vet...Kiera went in peace...surrounded by her family...listening to her favorite song...and she smiled with her last breath...
